Terratruck Distribution Services Ltd sells and hires power tools and building equipment from its head
office in Leicester and distribution centres and showrooms in Loughborough, Nottingham and Walsall.
They are the largest supplier of professional power tools in the East Midlands and the business
continues to grow at a rapid pace.

The three Directors have recently achieved a management-buyout of the company from the retiring founder and Managing Director and naturally wanted to minimise the possibility of disruption, particularly for its customers. In fact, according to Steve Porter, Finance Director, there was no disruption:

“We were keen to keep what was originally a Leicester family business locally owned to secure local jobs and provide continuity for our customers. We achieved all three without any disruption because the
process was smooth and went very well.”
