The Leicester Bearing Company Ltd distributes and supplies bearings, chains, belts and transmission products to a variety of customers including those from the industrial engineering and agricultural
markets to individual domestic consumers.

Formed by current Managing Director, Steve March in 1984 this well-known local owner-managed
business became a client of Mark J Rees in 1991.

April 1999 saw a landmark in the history of the company when The Phoenix Belting Company
(Leicester) Ltd, managed by Ronni Hallam, was acquired to further strengthen the leading position
already held in the market place.

Now with an unrivalled wide range of products on offer, the opportunity to access a larger customer
base and share resources, this strategic business decision enabled the companies to grow successfully
in tandem whilst still retaining and maximising the benefits of their established individual identities.
