Mark J Rees was founded in 1938 by Mark Jacob Rees.
Mark was born in Cardiff and moved to Leicester aged 7. It was in 1919, aged just 10, that he created the basis of the firm’s current logo scratched onto the surface of his mother's metal sewing tin. Almost fifty years after starting the Practice, Mark retired in 1985. In May 2006 he sadly passed away at the age of 96 having led a life full of personal and business achievements.
The Practice started in Millets Chambers, Granby Street, moved to The Crescent on King Street in 1975 and then in 1988 relocated to Granville Hall, Granville Road from where it now operates.
Today, Mark J Rees is a flourishing independent practice with a deep routed reputation for providing professional commercial advice delivered with an outstanding client service.
